Decaying Dragon Droppings . . . Tuesday, December 4, 2007 It was a late arriving crowd for Thirsty Tuesday festivities at Victory.  (Note to self, working people have certain obligations after work and can’t make a 7 PM start time.)  When it got to be 7:45 and I was still drinking alone (which, in and of itself, is not unusual) I figured the “Athletic” part of our group was winning out over the “Drinking” part.  Finally, Ken and Sonny wandered in, followed by Nancy, Mark, Matt, and Jeff and an enjoyable evening of beer drinking was had.  Following the “First In, First Out” principle, I made my exit before the others (who may still be there) so I don't know what, if anything, transpired afterwards. Sonny, Mark, Nancy, Ken, Matt, Steve, Jeff Sunday, November 25, 2007 It was a low-key gathering on a cold morning and generous Dragons dropped off some toys for the “Toys for Tots” program.  (Including Sonny who may have been nursing a Friday evening “Beer Mile” injury and wasn’t running.  But he did stop by to drop off a toy.)  Jeff was peddling Dragon clothing out of the back of his car and, I think, everybody picked out an article or two.  (Heck, the stuff makes for cheap, I mean inexpensive, Christmas presents.)  Then the four of us – Jeff, Jay, Janice, and me – headed towards the Struble Trail for a peaceful trot.  It was nice catching up on things – Jay’s son (sorry, Jay, I forget his name) is an enthusiastic wrestler in the 39.5 pound weight class – and we ran into Nancy on the way back.  Unfortunately, life got in the way and we didn’t stop into the Blue Café for breakfast.  Hopefully, we’ll do that next time.
